Morio v0.15 migration guide

This migration guide covers migrating Morio from v0.14 to v0.15.

Pre-migration

Copy morio.state.json to state.json

Depending on your setup, you may have a /etc/morio/moriod/morio.state.json file. If so, make sure to copy it to /etc/morio/moriod/state.json.

Migrate overlays.d

If you are using the overlays.d folder, you need to migrate your settings to the new settings.d folder.

Refer to the settings layout for detailed info.

tip

If you are not using the overlays.d folder, the migration will be transparent.

Post-migration

After a successful migration, you can remove the /etc/morio/moriod/overlays.d folder.
